What You’ll Do

Every day will bring something new, shaped by the season’s calendar and business priorities.

We are looking for one intern for each of the following departments:

Marketing

• Dive into fan engagement data across key EME markets
• Craft creative briefs and work closely with agencies and designers
• Monitor campaign performance and develop dashboards
• Manage promotional logistics and prize fulfilment
• Tailor global campaigns for local audiences

Events

• Help bring NBA Global Games and fan events to life
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and partners
• Manage accreditation, VIPs, signage, and event logistics
• Support on-site set-up and guest registration

Global Media Distribution

• Update programming grids and broadcaster notes
• Manage rights in the Rights Management System
• Support content feeds, tech operations, and screener libraries

Basketball Operations

• Help plan Jr. NBA events taking place during NBA games in Abu Dhabi and Europe.
• Support community programmes that promote social impact and encourage girls to play basketball across Europe and the Middle East.
• Organise and track shipments, and keep an eye on warehouse inventory.
• Assist the Basketball Operations team with managing their budget, tracking payments, and monitoring team expenses.
• Help the Manager create presentations and keep track of data for the NBA’s Basketball School programmes.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree completed within the last two years
• Fluent English (other languages a bonus)
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and eager to pick up new tools
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Organised, adaptable and proactive mindset
• Passionate about sport, basketball and the NBA
• Collaborative and inclusive attitude

Eligibility

• Full right to live and work in the UK
• Available full-time from September 2025 to September 2026
• In-person work required at the London NBA office
• Paid internship; compensation details shared with shortlisted candidates

• Friday 30th May – Internship advert goes live
• Sunday 15th June (midnight) – Applications close
• 16th June – 4th July – Telephone screening and shortlisting
• 28th July – Assessment Centre at our London office
• Week commencing 4th August – Internship offers and onboarding
• Monday 7th September – Internship starts
