The Role and Responsibilities:

To provide a quality focused service to customers across lending products including mortgages, loan transactions and secured lending facilities.

• Undertake to time and quality, in line with the Bank’s procedures and post-drawdown tasks which include, but are not limited to the following:

• Building Insurance Data, Collateral updates – 3 rd party guarantees, debentures

• General account management queries e.g. HMO notices, security changes, loan repayment changes

• Loan Extension letters issue

• Monitoring solicitor undertakings to Companies House / Land Registry

• Processing loan repayments (partial / full) - calculate, issue and manage process (including security release)

• Variation of security tasks – redemption statements, S106 agreements, lease consents

• Proof reading and checking documents for team members

• Legal research

• Get involved in Bank wide projects to drive efficiency

• Support the wider team as required

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

• A good level of IT literacy with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
• Undergraduate law degree.
• Previous paralegal experience.
• Must have experience with the Land Registry portal.
