POSITION OVERVIEW
Working within a multi-functional team in the UK office and across EMEA regional Marketing & Communication departments, the successful candidate will play a key role in helping Ralph Lauren to grow visibility across the UK, Iberia and Italy/Turkey region through key wholesale and digital partners, including Farfetch, ASOS and John Lewis in the UK, El Corte Ingls in Iberia, and Beymen for Turkey .
The ideal candidate will support the development and implementation of wholesale marketing campaigns across multiple markets and partner types, while helping to optimize the e-commerce and omnichannel brand experience . Acting as a key day-to-day contact for selected partners, the role will require close collaboration externally and internally to ensure seamless execution .
Focus areas include the creation and implementation of seasonal marketing campaigns , with a strong focus on digital, on-site merchandising and user experience optimization, campaign monitoring & results tracking, KPI analysis , budget coordination and marketing watch across the relevant markets and accounts .
Operating in highly competitive and diverse market environments , the successful candidate will strive to ensure that all marketing activities meet the expectations of Ralph Lauren customers and partners, delivering the best consumer experience online and offline and the most elevated brand presentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing
- Support in building the regional wholesale marketing vision and roadmap across UK, Iberia and Italy/Turkey , working closely with manager and regional marketing stakeholders , local sales teams , account managers and other relevant departments
- Develop seasonal marketing campaigns with key wholesale partners across the region, identifying relevant themes , commercial moments and brand priorities for key accounts
- Support the creation and execution of brand marketing plans in collaboration , ensuring activities are tailored to each market and account opportunity
- Brief creative teams on asset and format requirements , with the objectives of omnichannel consistency and brand elevation in mind, ensuring optimal execution across different partner platforms
- Coordinate performance marketing and visibility campaigns, where relevant, supporting partner media plans and ensuring alignment with seasonal priorities
- Support the management and monitoring of annual marketing budgets and campaign-related finance and legal processes, including PO and invoice tracking as well as contract signatures
- Ensure consistent execution across regional wholesale accounts, sharing best practices and learnings across markets where relevant
Reporting
- Track all marketing campaigns and placements across the region , monitoring live dates and coverage, evaluating performance, ensuring relevant KPIs are defined prior to campaign launch , shared by partners post-campaign and analysed to provide accurate reporting and data-based recommendations for future activities
- Report on performance , learnings and recommendations to relevant regional and account stakeholders
On-site brand presentation
- Monitor key wholesale partners digital channels across UK, Iberia and Italy/Turkey, conducting site audits focused on user experience , brand visibility and product presentation, while driving optimization suggestions and supporting their implementation
- Manage seasonal digital brand content deployment, ensuring the right content is received , adapted where needed and deployed as early as possible in the season across relevant partner platforms
- Ensure full compliance of key partners with brand guidelines , supporting an elevated and consistent Ralph Lauren expression across all customer touchpoints
Digital
- Monitor new ecommerce and marketing trends with wholesale and pureplayer accounts and industry leaders , track competitor ecommerce activities across key markets and identify opportunities for Ralph Lauren , embracing a test -and- learn approach
- Be a digital marketing ambassador , helping partners and colleagues to act digitally , share learnings across markets and push digital boundaries
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- 1-2 full strategic cycles in a similar marketing position, ideally with ecommerce, digital marketing , wholesale and /or omnichannel experience
- Proven track record of success in digital media planning
- Good understanding of the marketing and communications ecosystem online and offline, with sensitivity to regional market specificities
- Experience and/or interest in Fashion/Luxury
- Proficiency in reading and analyzing data
- Highly organized and structured, capacity to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously (from start to completion) while meeting deadlines with attention to details
- Strong team spirit with ability to work cross-functionally and cross-regionally
- Passion and commitment to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong culture of innovation, collaboration, curiosity, problem solving and high quality of execution
