Salary: £55,000 + Travel + Bonuses

We are working with a well-established, family-run MEP contractor based in Essex who deliver mechanical packages across data centres, commercial projects, and various other sectors. Known for their strong reputation, supportive culture, and consistent project pipeline, the business is now looking to appoint a Mechanical Supervisor who is keen to develop their career and progress within a growing organisation.

Role Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Mechanical Supervisor to join a respected contractor and play a key role in managing mechanical installation works across projects in London and the surrounding areas. You’ll support project teams, lead site operatives, and ensure that mechanical works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise mechanical installation works on data centre, commercial, and mixed-sector projects.

Manage and coordinate site operatives and subcontractors.

*

Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

*

Maintain high standards of health & safety and ensure full compliance on site.

*

Conduct quality checks, snagging, and assist with handover documentation.

*

Work closely with Project Managers to monitor progress and maintain programme targets.

*

Attend site meetings and report on project status.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor within the MEP/building services sector.

*

Strong understanding of mechanical installation across commercial or data centre environments.

*

Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.

*

Ability to work across multiple sites in London and surrounding areas.

*

Ambition to progress and grow within the business.

*

Relevant mechanical qualifications (NVQ/HNC/HND desirable).
