Document Controller

Our client is seeking enthusiastic Document Controllers to join their team for fixed-term contracts on exciting East Anglia projects! As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing project documents and ensuring compliance with quality standards across multiple National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) Infrastructure Delivery (ID) projects. You will develop and oversee document and quality records processes, supporting project teams and facilitating seamless design assurance. Why Join Us? Opportunity for professional growth with a mix of senior and junior roles. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Senior Project Managers and support project teams in document control across 4-6 projects.
Maintain an up-to-date Project Master Deliverables Register in partnership with contractors.
Organize the design management process, ensuring timely responses and an effective audit trail for transmittals.
Generate weekly performance reports on documentation for project managers.
Manage requests for information, ensuring actions are logged and responses are timely.
Liaise with NGET leads to establish document management standards and conduct regular audits in SharePoint.
Provide first-line assurance for documents and records with quality checks.
Identify and implement improvements in existing processes. Key Skills and Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in document and quality record management.
Proficient in SharePoint administration; experience with Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
