Residential AV/IT Specialist

A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced and hands-on Technology Specialist, with experience within Residential AV, Security & IT Networking to join a prestigious, high-performance family office supporting private estates and principal with global interests. This is not your typical IT support role - it's a rare chance to take ownership of a mission-critical, full-stack digital infrastructure across technologically advanced private residences.

As the go-to expert for a discreet, high-profile environment, you will oversee the lifecycle management, proactive support, and technical optimisation of systems including home automation (Savant), HVAC, enterprise-grade networking (Ubiquiti Unifi), AV, and physical security (CCTV, alarms).

Responsibilities

Acting as the first responder for all digital and technical issues across various sites.
Managing Savant home automation (including lighting, HVAC, AV, and security integrations)
Maintaining Axis CCTV systems, alarm networks, and access control points
Overseeing the setup and optimisation of AV environments - from distributed audio to high-spec video conferencing
Deploying and maintaining enterprise networking infrastructure (Ubiquiti Unifi)
Administering Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments
Supporting remote meetings and digital communications via Zoom and integrated platforms
Liaising with contractors, vendors, and technical specialists to ensure seamless operations

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 5 years' experience supporting high-spec personal technology - ideally within private residential or family office settings
Savant Certified Engineer - essential
Strong expertise across smart home systems, AV, security tech, and cloud platforms
Excellent interpersonal and vendor management skills - discretion and professionalism are key
Comfortable working autonomously and adapting to rapidly changing requirements
Able to lift equipment (up to 50 lbs with reasonable accommodations)
Fluent English required; French and/or Spanish advantageous

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in IT, MIS, or a related field preferred (or equivalent hands-on experience)
Professional certifications across relevant platforms (e.g. Savant, Ubiquiti) are highly desirable
