Shipping Disputes Associate - (Leading International Practice)
An international law firm is seeking a Shipping Disputes Associate to join its established maritime litigation and arbitration practice. The role offers exposure to complex, cross-border shipping, trade and offshore disputes for a global client base.

Our client is a highly respected international law firm with a strong reputation in the shipping and international trade sectors. The team advises shipowners, insurers, commodities businesses, energy companies and financial institutions on a broad range of contentious matters across key global markets.
Description
You will work on a wide variety of shipping and trade disputes, including litigation, arbitration and advisory matters with international elements. The role will involve drafting legal documents, conducting technical research, liaising directly with clients, experts and counsel, managing matters, and supporting business development initiatives.
Profile
- Qualified solicitor with ideally 3+ years' PQE.
- Experience in shipping disputes or a strong interest in the maritime sector.
- Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
- Commercially minded with strong attention to detail.
- Able to manage matters effectively and build strong client relationships.
