The Role
- Position: KS2 Class Teacher (Year 3, Year 4, or Year 5 – assigned based on experience and preference)
- Location: Welling, Bexley (Greater London)
- Start Date: January 2026
- Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered
In this role, you will:
- Teach a well-behaved and enthusiastic KS2 class with the support of a strong leadership and teaching team
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Inspire children to develop independence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning
- Assess pupil progress effectively to ensure all children achieve their best
- Collaborate closely with year group partners and contribute to the wider school community
- Take part in trips, events, and enrichment activities that enhance the learning experience
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 3, 4 or 5
- A secure understanding of the KS2 curriculum and high standards for teaching and learning
- Excellent classroom practice with strong behaviour management skills
- A nurturing and child-centred approach
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organisational abilities
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and active participation in school life
