About the Role:
We are looking for an ambitious and driven National Account Executive to support our National Account Managers in delivering exceptional commercial results across key retail and distribution channels.
In this dynamic position, you will build strong relationships with customers, support contract negotiations, and help shape sales plans that bring our strategies to life. From implementing promotional initiatives to fine-tuning commercial programs, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving performance and elevating our presence in the marketplace.
This is your opportunity to gain high-level exposure, sharpen your commercial skills, and grow within a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your contributions truly matter.
Main Responsibilities:
As a National Account Executive, you will be the commercial backbone behind our customer strategies. Working closely with National Account Managers, you will shape and align sales volume budgets across key channels and customers. You’ll take ownership of forecasting, monitor structured costs, and ensure all commercial activity aligns with our spending guidelines. Your sharp eye for numbers and planning will keep performance on target and ahead of the curve.
You will play a direct role in supporting client development through Trade Marketing plans. By activating pricing strategies, leading promotional initiatives, and helping drive compelling in-store campaigns, you will help define channel and customer plans, identify performance gaps, and implement tailored solutions. Whether it’s enhancing visibility or strengthening partnerships, you’ll be instrumental in turning strategy into standout execution.
In this role, you’ll also support high-level negotiations. Working alongside National Account Managers, you will help prepare for and participate in key commercial moments, from contract signings to resolving business challenges. Your ability to build strong relationships across customers, channels, and internal teams will help you stay attuned to the UK&I market and uncover the insights that shape success.
Data accuracy and commercial communication will be central to your day-to-day. You will manage customer master data across our systems, ensuring structures, distribution points, and invoicing details remain up to date and precise. You will also lead pricing updates, keeping sales teams informed with clear communication through the Sales Newsletter. In addition, you’ll support the development of new business opportunities by helping identify and surface untapped growth potential.
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a commercially minded individual with strong negotiation and influencing skills. You thrive in challenging environments where your commercial acumen makes a tangible impact, and you’re confident using both logic and insight to support strategic decision-making. With strong verbal and numerical reasoning, you bring clarity and conviction to conversations, whether you’re analysing data or presenting ideas.
Naturally engaging and credible, you understand the importance of building trusted relationships both internally and externally. You know how to navigate stakeholder dynamics and contribute to a team culture where collaboration fuels success.
You are proficient with tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and you’re at ease navigating digital platforms, including social media, in a professional setting. Experience in the FMCG sector would be an advantage, equipping you with valuable insight into the pace and complexity of our industry.
How to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:
We encourage all our people to think creatively to set personal targets and objectives and push new, better ways to work. Employee contribution and engagement at Ferrero is based on the individual, team and organization dimension, so should have the ability to work independently, as a part of the team and be able to build proper relations with stakeholders at all levels. A demonstrable consumer-focused attitude and autonomy in managing relationships will help you in building your position among stakeholders and achieving expected sales outcomes.
