Their company is expanding, and they are seeking to establish a dedicated marketing position to drive marketing activities in-house. This is a dynamic role with room for growth, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to shape the company’s marketing strategy and execution from the ground up.
Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 + PRP
Role Overview:
We are looking for a talented and driven Marketing Coordinator, with the potential to grow into a Marketing Manager role. This position is ideal for someone with excellent digital marketing and creative design skills, who is eager to take ownership of our marketing activities, work closely with external partners, and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
Initially, the role will focus on coordination, with a clear pathway toward management responsibilities as you develop in the role.
The Role
- Website Management: Oversee the development of content for the website, including blogs and other material, ensuring that it aligns with our brand voice and business objectives.
- Social Media: Manage both paid and organic social media campaigns across platforms to engage with our audience and promote our services.
- Email Marketing: Create, design, and send email newsletters, developing campaigns that drive engagement and build our subscriber base.
- Content Creation: Develop and manage a mix of short and long-form content, both original and third-party, for various marketing channels.
- Design & Creative Collateral: Use Canva and other tools to design marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, videos, and other visual assets. Stay informed about new tools, including AI technologies like Hedra, that could enhance our marketing efforts.
- Analytics & SEO Oversight: Collaborate with external SEO consultants to ensure our site remains optimized, track marketing performance, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Campaign Development: Work closely with the business development team to create and execute engagement campaigns that drive growth and build relationships with potential clients.
- Events: Assist in the coordination and planning of events, including attending industry events and eventually organizing in-house events to further build our brand presence.
The Person
- Experience: Prior marketing experience (2+ years) in a role managing multiple marketing channels (or the eagerness and quick learning ability to step up to the task).
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair and the ability to craft compelling messages.
- Digital Marketing Proficiency: Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, content management systems (e.g., WordPress), and basic SEO.
- Creative Design Skills: Proficient in design tools like Canva (or similar); knowledge of video editing and emerging AI technologies is a plus.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse campaign performance, interpret data, and use insights to make recommendations for improvement.
- Event Management Interest: A willingness to explore and grow into event coordination and management.
- Cultural Fit: A genuine interest in our business, a natural curiosity to learn, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
Perks:
- Opportunity to grow within the role from Marketing Coordinator to Marketing Manager based on performance, learning speed, and ambition.
- Hybrid working options after a successful onboarding period.
- Being part of a friendly and growing team with exciting plans for expansion.
