London & Surrey
£Basic Salary + Commission
🏠 Lettings Broker – Fine & Country | London | Employed
We are actively looking for an experienced Lettings Broker to join our London & Surrey team. This is a permanent, employed position offering the stability of a base salary alongside strong commission earning potential.
A bit about this opportunity;
All of our other agents at The Agency Group are self-employed - but we know that route isn't for everyone, or isn't the right fit right now. Maybe you've thought about going self-employed but the timing isn't quite there yet. Maybe you'd rather get established within a brokerage first, learn the ropes, and build towards self-employment further down the line. Either way, this employed role gives you that flexibility, with plenty of room to grow.
About the role;
You'll manage a portfolio of landlord and tenant relationships, matching properties to clients, negotiating tenancy terms, and delivering a first-class lettings service from instruction through to move-in. You'll work closely with our new Group Head of Lettings and our wider brokerage to identify opportunities and build long-term client relationships.
What you'll be doing;
Managing the end-to-end lettings process, from valuation and instruction to tenancy completion
Building and maintaining relationships with landlords and tenants
Conducting property viewings and negotiating offers
Ensuring compliance with lettings legislation and right-to-rent checks
Identifying opportunities to grow the lettings portfolio
What we're looking for;
2+ years' experience in lettings or residential property
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Excellent knowledge of the London or Surrey rental markets
A proactive, target-driven approach
Full UK driving licence (if applicable to your patch)
What's on offer;
Competitive base salary, plus commission of up to 15%
Employed status with the security and benefits that come with it
A genuine path to self-employment within the business, when and if you're ready
Ongoing training and career progression within a growing brokerage
A supportive, collaborative team environment
