Nanny-Personal Assistant
One child aged 4 years old, turning 5 in November, attending school.
One child aged 18 months, attending nursery 3 times per week. The nanny will care for him on the days he is not attending nursery. Working Hours Monday: 12:00pm to 7:00pm
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 7:30am to 6:30pm 40 hours per week Salary £17 net per hour
£680 net per week Approximate gross equivalent:
£21 to £23 gross per hour
£840 to £920 gross per week Final gross salary will depend on tax code, pension and payroll calculations. Start Date September. Role Overview The family is looking for a reliable, sporty and nurturing Nanny PA who can confidently support the children’s routine while also helping with the smooth running of the household. The role will include school and nursery drop-offs and pick-ups, care for the youngest child on non-nursery days, healthy meal planning, cooking for the children, child-related organisation, grocery shopping and household PA duties. This position would suit someone who enjoys a varied role, is proactive, organised and confident managing both childcare and family administration. Main Responsibilities Nanny Duties School and nursery drop-off.
School and nursery pick-up at 3:00pm.
Care for the youngest child on the days he is not attending nursery.
Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
Plan children’s meals for the week.
Support the children’s afternoon and evening routine.
Proactively organise activities.
Arrange play dates.
Plan educational outings.
Encourage outdoor play and physical activities.
Support bath time and bedtime preparation.
Keep the children safe, happy and engaged.
Encourage French language with the children.
Support the children’s independence and development. Child-related Housekeeping Keep the children’s bedrooms tidy and organised.
Children’s laundry.
Organise children’s clothes, shoes and belongings.
Prepare school and nursery bags.
Keep play areas tidy.
Manage children’s supplies.
Rotate toys and books when needed.
No deep cleaning. PA / Household Duties Oversee the family calendar and weekly household planning.
Handle family appointments, including doctors, dentists and other services.
Coordinate children’s camps, clubs and holiday activities.
Research travel options and assist with holiday preparation.
Arrange restaurants, family outings and social plans.
Do grocery shopping.
Ensure basic household products are stocked.
Manage household orders, deliveries and returns.
Liaise with household suppliers, contractors and service providers.
Follow up on household maintenance and appointments.
Keep track of reminders, deadlines and family admin.
Assist with forms, bookings and general correspondence.
Ensure the household runs smoothly day to day. Father’s Calendar Support Once the candidate has demonstrated strong organisation, reliability and attention to detail, the role may gradually include support with the father’s calendar and professional schedule. Travel The family would ideally like someone open to travelling with them occasionally.
