Nanny for school pick-ups, Job ID J23063
A family based in Hammersmith, London, is looking for looking for a warm, energetic, nurturing and academically oriented Afterschool Nanny to care for their school-aged child. The family would love to find someone who can build a close, trusting relationship with the child and encourage his curiosity and confidence, and make learning enjoyable.
A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 7:30 PM. Full days in school holiday 8:30 AM - 7:30 PM (11 weeks of the year)
Duties include:
- Collecting our son from school and accompanying him to after-school activities (currently gymnastics and football), playdates and outings.
- Planning stimulating, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, confidence and independence, including outdoor play and exploration.
- Supporting early literacy, numeracy, reading and writing through engaging, playful activities.
- Organising playdates, encouraging friendships and supporting our son's social
- Establishing positive routines, good manners and consistent boundaries.
- Managing dinner, bath time and the evening routine.
The family is looking for someone who can start on 4 January 2027.
