Ready to make magic? We’re hiring for our 12-month undergraduate placement schemes.

We have a range of internship opportunities available within the Graphic and Digital Design team here at Disney. These roles will be split by the following areas:

Graphic Design and Illustration

In this role, you will form part of The Walt Disney Consumer Products remit. As part of the world’s largest licensor of intellectual property, you will provide crucial support to the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Creative Design Team by becoming an expert at extending our Disney stories through originating graphics for style guide development and for creative projects across all our Disney and Pixar franchises.

You will utilise your creative skills and will be growing your commercial foresight by researching Fashion and Home trends & consumer insights, participating in regular design meetings and supporting the creative process.

Branding, Packaging and Retail Design

A unique opportunity to gain experience by working across two established teams, EMEA Retail Creative and EMEA Brand, Packaging and 3D Innovation.

You will utilize your creative skills by contributing to live briefs and helping both teams develop creative assets that will enable growth and brand awareness for relevant TWDC franchises, whilst learning about our character equity and delivering outstanding storytelling.

Taking direction and learning from experienced team members you will work on briefs from ideation through to final artwork and distribution. Briefs set from across the region (EMEA) will give a true insight into both fields of design, they will be varied, stimulating and push creative thinking.

Briefs can include trend research/mood boards, development of packaging guides and retail guides, campaign and retailer toolkits, pitch work, sell-in visuals, branding projects, retail POS, store environments and digital banners.

UX & Production Design

As a UX & Production Design intern, you will support the EMEA Design team, part of Disney Entertainment & ESPN Product & Technology, working across design streams for Disney+, Movies, Parks, Disney Store, and National Geographic.

This will include projects to develop UX and visual design solutions for new and existing products, as well as working on large-scale deliveries of production images for internal products and Disney partners.

Stationery and Home

In this role you’ll play a crucial role to ensure the portfolio of these products resonates with our fans and reflect our storytelling perfection. You will gain exposure to the lifecycle of our licensed products from concept to distribution, as well as working collaboratively across internal teams to gather and share key information to support successful development of the product.

You will be required to engage with external licenses, to ensure compliance with our high standards and creating visual reports to help with the future product strategies. During this internship you will gain experience in licensing and product development to grow your commercial and creative thinking.

National Geographic Design

Working for a legendary brand, you will support the Creative team to deliver promotional and marketing assets for National Geographic channels across EMEA. The Design and Social Intern will work on print and motion graphics for our promotions. They will have a passion for design and visual arts, and a keen interest in layout, typography and the National Geographic brand.

Consumer Products Creative Operations
