You'll be the calm, reassuring presence that children need to feel secure in our Area Camden homes across Camden, Haringey, and Islington. With a competitive salary of up to £31,867.18 per annum (dependent on qualification) and a permanent contract, this role offers more than just a job – it's a chance to shape young lives.

• Pay: Up to £31,867.18 per annum (dependent on qualification)
• Hours: 12-hour shifts, 20:00pm - 8:00am
• Contract: Permanent
• Location: Greater London (covering Area Camden homes in Camden, Haringey & Islington)

The Work

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children throughout the night
• Support individual bedtime routines and suitable nighttime activities
• Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures
• Communicate effectively with out-of-hours services
• Adhere to Area Camden policies and equal-opportunities standards
• Act as a positive role model for colleagues and young people

What You Need

• Strong team player with energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
• Understanding of safeguarding and how to protect children
• Ability to follow delegated tasks and produce clear, detailed handovers
• Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing
• Willing to work towards the relevant qualification if not already held

Desirable

• Children's Workforce Diploma (or equivalent)
