Nanny
We are looking for an experienced, warm and energetic full-time live-in nanny to care for our three boys, aged 2, 4 and 7½, at our family home in Berkshire. Native Spanish speaking and driving licence required. Our two older children (aged 4 and 7½) are both at school full-time, so during the school day the nanny will primarily care for our 2-year-old. We are looking for someone who will become a trusted and long-term part of our family and who is confident managing three children of different ages. HOURS
Monday to Friday, 7am–7pm (60 hours per week). During term time, the two older children are at school, so the nanny will primarily care for our 2-year-old during school hours, alongside school drop-offs and collections. You will care for all three children after school and during school holidays. 1 babysitting evening per week also required. THE ROLE
The nanny will have sole-charge responsibility for the children and duties will include:
- Providing warm, attentive and engaging care for the children
- School drop-offs and collections
- Planning age-appropriate activities, outings and playdates
- Supporting the children’s routines, development and independence
- Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Helping with homework and reading where appropriate
- Organising and keeping on top of the children’s schedules, activities and belongings
- Children’s laundry
- Keeping the children’s bedrooms, play areas and belongings tidy and organised
- Tidying up after the children and their meals
- One evening per week (weekdays only) babysitting.
- This is a nanny position rather than a nanny/housekeeper role. There is no general household cleaning or family laundry. SPANISH LANGUAGE REQUIRED
We would like someone who is happy to speak Spanish with the children. They all understand Spanish already. DRIVING
You must be a confident and experienced driver with a full driving licence. A car will be provided for all work-related driving. LIVE-IN / ACCOMMODATION
This is a live-in role. We offer excellent private live-in accommodation within our home. You will have a newly renovated private annex comprising their own bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/seating/dining room with separate private utility area, providing a comfortable and separate living space. You will be welcome to make use of our large garden and tennis court. The house is 12 minutes walk to the village train station (Cookham) with connections to London via Maidenhead. Approx 8 minutes to Maidenhead and then 18 minutes fast train or 40 minute Elizabeth Line to central London. The village also has multiple cafes, pubs, restaurants, a butcher, French deli, post office, pharmacy, grocery shop, churches, the river for boating etc., National Trust grounds, an art gallery, and regular village festivals/fetes. The riverside town of Marlow is 12 minutes’ drive from our house which has many shops, restaurants, cafes, an Everyman cinema, and many other facilities. The town of Maidenhead is also 12 minutes’ drive away (with larger Odeon, a leisure centre, and shops). We have plenty of parking on our driveway but Uber/Bolt also work well in the area and there are various bus routes with a stop at the end of our lane. SALARY
£45,000 to £55,000 gross per annum, depending on experience/qualifications, plus pension contributions. 20 days’ paid annual holiday plus UK bank holidays. Right to work in UK required.
