English ECT (ECT Support) - Islington

The Role You will deliver English Literature and Language lessons across KS3 and KS4, benefiting from a "No-Marking" policy that focuses on live verbal feedback. You will be supported by a designated English specialist mentor to help you navigate your first two years in the profession. Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching engaging English lessons that foster a love for reading and oracy

• Utilizing whole-class feedback strategies to reduce administrative workload

• Supporting the school’s diverse curriculum through innovative text choices

• Monitoring student attendance and academic growth within your classes

• Attending weekly ECF seminars and non-evaluative mentor observations
