We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and organized Science Technician to join a dynamic and well-resourced science department in a high-achieving school in Hammersmith . This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in science looking to support students and teachers in a thriving educational setting.

Role: Science Technician
Location: Hammersmith, West London
Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible
Salary: Competitive (Dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time (Permanent or long-term temporary options available)
Environment: Supportive science department with modern laboratories and well-equipped facilities
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing practical equipment, apparatus, and solutions for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons.
Maintaining, cleaning, and testing laboratory equipment to ensure safe working conditions.
Managing stock levels of chemicals, equipment, and consumable materials, and coordinating orders.
Supporting teachers during practical classes and assisting students with safety guidelines.
Ensuring full compliance with COSHH regulations, health & safety policies, and safe disposal of waste materials.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Science Technician or a relevant scientific qualification/degree.
Good knowledge of laboratory safety procedures, equipment handling, and COSHH regulations.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
