Temasek EMEA team is looking for an investment professional with ~1-2 years of relevant experience to join the investment team at the Associate level.
The new joiner will be an integral part of the EMEA direct investment team, participating in all aspects of the investment process, from initial screening and due diligence, through approval, to post-investment monitoring and value creation.
Responsibilities- Participate in identifying and assessing investment opportunities in attractive companies across various sub-sectors
- Conduct research and financial analysis on target companies and assigned sub-sectors
- Evaluate, undertake due diligence, execute investments, and monitor portfolio company performance
- Develop financial models and presentations for internal evaluation and investment committees
- Establish and cultivate relationships with companies, corporate partners, research analysts, and other relevant institutions
- Monitor existing portfolio companies and new direct investments against investment theses and assist with value creation
Temasek seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavours. The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Strong academic qualifications in any discipline with a passion for investing
- ~1 year of working experience in top-tier private equity, management consulting firm or investment bank
- Strong analytical capabilities and modelling skills
- Strong attention to details
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- High level of interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills
- Strong team skills, and comfortable working in a cross-border, multi-cultural team environment
