About the Role:

As Head Chef, you will be a key leader in our kitchen management team, ensuring exceptional food quality, operational efficiency, and a strong performance-driven culture. This role demands culinary creativity, a meticulous approach to food safety, and a focus on team development, profitability, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Ofelia Kitchen team to consistently deliver high-quality Italian cuisine.
• Develop and execute seasonal menus that combine authentic Italian flavours with modern techniques.
• Manage kitchen operations efficiently, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Control food costs, oversee purchasing, and ensure budgetary targets are met.
• Train, mentor, and inspire the kitchen team to achieve culinary excellence.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other departments to enhance guest experiences.

• Extensive experience in renowned Italian restaurants.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing kitchen teams.
• Expertise in traditional and contemporary Italian cooking techniques.
• Strong skills in menu creation, food production, and cost management.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for continuous improvement and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
