Residential Care Support Worker

Join us as a Senior Residential Children's Home Support Worker in Greater London, working across Camden, Haringey & Islington. Earn £34,660.95 per annum, working 12-hour shifts in a fixed rota pattern with an average of 168 hours per month. Enjoy 236 hours of annual leave, increasing by 12 hours each year up to 272 hours. The Work:

• Act as a key worker, oversee daily practice, and support continuous improvement
• Lead and mentor staff, organise work patterns, and ensure care plans are met
• Manage placement plans, respond to safeguarding concerns, and coordinate services
• Maintain compliance with regulations, uphold care standards, and contribute to quality assurance
• Work as part of the rota to support the home's 24/7 operation and maintain safe, consistent care

What You Need:

• 2 to 3 years' experience in residential childcare or similar setting
• Children's Workforce Diploma or equivalent in the children's sector
• Knowledge of child protection procedures and safeguarding practices
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Willingness to work on a shift pattern and cover holidays and on-calls
