Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with an UHNWI that owns a Private House in Mayfair, London and have a fantastic opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team.

• Salary – £45,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday
• 7.30am till 4.30pm

What’s involved?
A successful Housekeeper will ideally have worked within a Private House for an UHNWI and a 5 Star luxury Hotel or a Luxury Yacht.

Duties include:

• Perform general daily cleaning including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and floor polishing.
• Carry out deep cleaning during periods when the family is away, to ensure the property remains in immaculate condition.
• Regularly inspect all areas of the house throughout the day to maintain high presentation standards.
• Oversee all laundry duties, including hand-washing and ironing, with careful attention to delicate and luxury fabrics such as cashmere, silk, and designer garments.
• Manage wardrobe organisation and maintenance.
• Sort and prepare items for dry cleaning as required.
• Confident handling of high-value surfaces such as marble and wood, with proper use of materials and products.
• Care and cleaning of antiques and silverware, using appropriate methods.
• Ensure all bathrooms are well-stocked with toiletries and maintained in spotless condition.
• Keep guest bedrooms in pristine condition at all times, ready for use at short notice.
• Support packing and unpacking of suitcases for family travel.
• Liaise effectively with the PA team, House Manager, Chauffeur, and other household staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Provide guidance and training to temporary, part-time, and weekend housekeeping staff during busy periods or large-scale events.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring timely restocking.
• Proactively report any maintenance or repair needs to the family office team.
• Undertake ad hoc requests from the family as required, ensuring a flexible and can-do attitude at all times.

Hands on experience and excellent attention to detail is essential.
