About this role:
We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and detail-oriented Kit Assistant For our Men's First Team, to support the team by ensuring all training kit, matchday kit and equipment are organized and maintained to the highest standards. This role plays a key part in the day to day running of the training ground and matchday as well as travelling with the team both home and away for fixtures.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all training and matchday kits are prepared, organized and presented to the highest standards.
Travel with the first team squad to both domestic and European matchdays
Ensure all match kit is printed to the highest quality and in line with the relevant competition guidelines
Assist with the distribution of kits to players and staff, ensuring individuals have the necessary equipment for training sessions.
Ensure player and senior staff boots are cleaned and maintained post training and matchday
Manage inventory levels of kit supplies and equipment, including liaising with the head kitman to order new items when necessary and maintaining accurate records of stock levels
Ensure kit areas and changing rooms are kept to a clean, neat and organised standard
Pack and prepare kits for home & away matches, ensuring all required items are included for both players and staff.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion when presented with confidential information
Build strong working relationships with both players and staff, ensuring all needs are met when required.
Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager.
Upholding and promoting the Club’s policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role within professional football or a sports environment (essential)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and matchdays.
