Senior Associate - Real Estate

Residential Property Solicitor (6+ PQE) to join the highly regarded Residential Real Estate team of a leading UK Top 50 law firm based in Central London.


This role is ideal for a solicitor with significant experience handling high-value residential property matters who enjoys working with high-net-worth individuals, landed estates, developers and private clients on complex and prestigious transactions.


The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent client management skills and the ability to confidently manage sophisticated matters while building long-term relationships with clients and professional advisers.
Working within a collaborative and highly respected team, you will advise on a broad range of premium residential property matters while working closely with colleagues across Private Client, Family and other specialist departments.


The Role You will be responsible for advising on a varied and high-quality caseload, including:

  • High-value residential sales, purchases and property finance for high-net-worth individuals.
  • Residential and mixed-use property portfolio management for private individuals, family-owned property companies and landed estates.
  • Property restructuring and transfers in conjunction with tax planning, private client and family matters.
  • Property aspects of probate and estate administration.
  • Residential development acquisitions, site development and plot sales.
  • Collective enfranchisement and Right to Manage matters for landlords and leaseholders.
  • Advising educational institutions on residential housing schemes.
  • Working closely with colleagues across multiple practice areas to deliver a seamless client service.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, referrers and other professional advisers.
  • Contributing to the continued growth and success of the Residential Real Estate team.
The Successful Candidate You will have:

  • A minimum of 6 years' PQE specialising in residential property.
  • Proven experience handling high-value residential property transactions gained within a reputable law firm.
  • Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and sophisticated private clients.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a strong client-focused approach.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organisational and matter management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work closely with colleagues across multiple practice areas.
  • A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional client service and developing long-term client relationships.
