Academics is proud to be working with a fantastic, well-established private nursery in Fulham that is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to join their exceptional team from November 2026.

Role Details
* Start Date: November 2026
* Location: Fulham, London
* Position: Room Leader
* Contract: Full-time, Permanent
* Hours: 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday with varied shift patterns
* Salary: £34,000 – £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a nursery room, ensuring the highest standards of care and education
* Support, motivate, and mentor Early Years Practitioners within the room
* Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
* Monitor children's learning and development, ensuring accurate observations and assessments
The Ideal Candidate Will
* Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or above)
* Have previous experience working as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, Senior Nursery Practitioner, or experienced Early Years Practitioner ready to step up
* Have experience leading, supporting, or mentoring colleagues within a nursery environment
