Due to the continued impressive growth of our capital allowances services, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capital Allowances Senior Manager to join our growing team in London, United Kingdom.
Hybrid pattern: 3 days in office, 2 days working from home. (Would consider 1 day in London office and remainder of office days in S&W offices)
In this pivotal role, you will help grow and shape our capital allowances practice contributing to business generation and providing expert advice to clients and managing complex projects across various industries.
- Oversee and manage capital allowances projects for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize tax savings through capital allowances claims
- Lead client meetings and presentations to explain complex tax concepts and recommendations
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering their professional growth
- Stay up-to-date with changes in UK tax legislation and regulations affecting capital allowances
- Collaborate with other tax specialists to provide comprehensive solutions to clients
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the capital allowances practice
- Ensure quality control and timely delivery of all project deliverables
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including articles, webinars, and industry events
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Ideally professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA, or RICS
- Experience in capital allowances tax consulting
- Expertise in capital allowances calculations and claims across various industries
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to clients
- Proven track record in managing capital allowances projects and delivering results
- Experience leading and mentoring junior team members
- In-depth understanding of various industries and their capital expenditure patterns
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with tax legislation changes
