Job Description

Due to the continued impressive growth of our capital allowances services, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capital Allowances Senior Manager to join our growing team in London, United Kingdom.

Hybrid pattern: 3 days in office, 2 days working from home. (Would consider 1 day in London office and remainder of office days in S&W offices)

In this pivotal role, you will help grow and shape our capital allowances practice contributing to business generation and providing expert advice to clients and managing complex projects across various industries.

• Oversee and manage capital allowances projects for a diverse portfolio of clients
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize tax savings through capital allowances claims
• Lead client meetings and presentations to explain complex tax concepts and recommendations
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering their professional growth
• Stay up-to-date with changes in UK tax legislation and regulations affecting capital allowances
• Collaborate with other tax specialists to provide comprehensive solutions to clients
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the capital allowances practice
• Ensure quality control and timely delivery of all project deliverables
• Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including articles, webinars, and industry events

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Ideally professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA, or RICS
• Experience in capital allowances tax consulting
• Expertise in capital allowances calculations and claims across various industries
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to clients
• Proven track record in managing capital allowances projects and delivering results
• Experience leading and mentoring junior team members
• In-depth understanding of various industries and their capital expenditure patterns
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with tax legislation changes
