Assistant Company Secretary

A leading telecommunications company is seeking an experienced and senior Assistant Company Secretary to join their Legal team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

You'll be working in a hybrid model, with presence in their London office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global business in a highly respected legal and governance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality company secretarial support across the UK plc and US-listed entities
• Manage and oversee subsidiary governance across a global structure
• Support on board and committee meetings, including preparation of papers, minutes, and follow-ups
• Ensure compliance with relevant listing rules and corporate governance codes
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and regulators

Essential requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar Assistant Company Secretary role within a listed business
• Must have significant PLC experience
• Solid knowledge of UK and US listing requirements and governance standards
• Proven track record in subsidiary governance within a complex group structure
• Confident working autonomously in a senior, visible position
• ICSA/CGI qualification (or equivalent)
