Document Controller
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

Travel: Travel expenses to site covered About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Document Controller to join a leading main contractor on a permanent basis, working on a major construction project in East London. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised individual to join an established contractor, supporting the smooth running of project documentation and ensuring all information is accurately managed, distributed and maintained throughout the project lifecycle. The role will be primarily site-based, with the flexibility to work from home one day per week. Travel expenses to site will also be covered. Key Responsibilities * Manage and maintain all project documentation, ensuring information is accurately recorded, filed and easily accessible. * Control the receipt, registration, distribution and tracking of drawings, technical documents and project correspondence. * Ensure all documentation is uploaded, issued and maintained in line with company procedures and project requirements. * Manage drawing registers, document trackers, revision control and transmittals. * Liaise with project managers, engineers, design teams, subcontractors and consultants to ensure the timely distribution of information. * Monitor document revisions and ensure the latest approved drawings and documents are available to relevant project teams. * Maintain accurate document control systems using 4Projects/Viewpoint. * Support project teams with document-related queries and reporting requirements. * Assist with the management of technical submissions, RFIs and other project documentation. * Ensure compliance with document control procedures, quality standards and project deadlines. Requirements * Previous experience working as a Document Controller within the construction industry. * Essential: Proven experience using 4Projects/Viewpoint. * Strong understanding of construction document control processes, drawing registers and revision management. * Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. * Confident communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with multiple project stakeholders. * Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines in a fast-paced site environment. * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. * Desirable: Experience using Dalux. * A proactive, reliable and professional approach to work.
