THE POSITION
We are looking for a motivated Sales Executive to manage Orlebar Brown’s wholesale relationships across multiple channels, including direct wholesale, travel retail, distributors, and franchises.
You will play a key role in maintaining existing business, developing new opportunities, and ensuring the brand achieves its sales targets across the UK and European markets.
This is a hands-on role, requiring travel to key accounts, trade shows, and international locations as needed.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and grow existing wholesale business, delivering against the annual sales plan.
Ensuring weekly and monthly reviews of customer sales (sell in, intake and sell out) performance are in place to unlock opportunities and highlighting risks as early as possible. You will develop and lead, forward order driven plans as well as short term in season selling campaigns.
Building relationships at all levels of Department Store organizations. You will be expected to interact at the highest levels of those organizations, whilst also establishing relationships with retailers through performance of their shop floors.
Expand the brand into broader categories, including Lifestyle and Footwear, in addition to Swim and Resort.
Track KPIs, forecasts, and sales benchmarks, ensuring internal communication of processes and results.
Organize and participate in showroom setups, trade shows, and conferences (e.g., Paris, Pitti Uomo, Milan).
Travel to key accounts to train staff on visual merchandising, selling techniques, and operational efficiency.
Identify and secure new wholesale accounts in key regions.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Your key skills and attributes will include:
Proven experience managing a wholesale portfolio across EU/ROW markets.
Strong track record in driving both sell-in and sell-through at the point of sale.
The ability to develop incremental sales performance and achieve growth targets..
Experience in visual merchandising and retail staff training..
Familiarity with the menswear and luxury goods markets is advantageous.
Knowledge of wholesale, franchise, distributor, and agent channels.
Financial awareness and accountability for sales decisions.
Excellent attention to detail, follow-up skills, and organisational abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and B2B ordering tools (e.g., Joor).
Fluent in English; additional languages (French, Spanish, Italian) are a plus.
