Data Protection & Compliance Coordinator - Leading Property Service Group - Richmond

Overview: Our market-leading and well-established Property Service group is recruiting a motivated and meticulous individual to join our Business Administration team in Richmond.
In this vital role, you will coordinate key data protection and compliance functions-including handling Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), coordinating data breach responses, maintaining privacy policies, and supporting AML screening. You will work alongside supportive teams while helping ensure regulatory standards are met across the organisation.
Duties Include:
Managing the end-to-end Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) process accurately within statutory timeframes
Coordinating and logging reported personal data breaches, aiding investigations, and tracking corrective actions under GDPR
Acting as a helpful first point of contact for day-to-day GDPR and privacy queries
Maintaining, updating, and administering data protection and privacy policies, version controls, and review schedules
Providing administrative support for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes, including ID&V and ongoing sanctions screening
Assisting with the client ICO registration process in collaboration with legal admin teams
Producing agreed monthly compliance reports tracking DSAR volumes, data breaches, policy activity, and risks
Experience & Skills Needed:
Strong understanding of (or keen interest in) GDPR, data protection, privacy, and regulatory compliance
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot gaps, inconsistencies, and compliance risks
Clear written and verbal communication skills to explain requirements and liaise with stakeholders across departments
High integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive information and issues
Strong organisational and time-management skills to balance competing priorities independently
Confidence to tactfully challenge, escalate issues, and drive corrective action when dealing with non-compliance
