Role Summary:
The Finance Transformation Support Manager will play a key role in delivering the Finance Transformation agenda, supporting the Head of Finance Transformation in driving process optimisation, systems implementation, and operating model change across the Finance function. This role will ensure that transformation initiatives are well-coordinated, effectively executed, and embedded into business-as-usual finance operations.
Reports to: Group Financial Controller or Head of Compliance
Working hours: 37.5 per week
Working Location: London / Remote
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Head of Finance Transformation to design and deliver the transformation roadmap across processes, systems, reporting, and operating model initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate project workstreams — tracking milestones, managing risks and issues, and ensuring clear, timely progress.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of governance documentation, including RAIDs, steering papers, status reports, and other key project artefacts.
- Act as a liaison between Finance, IT, and other business areas to ensure full alignment on timelines, priorities, dependencies, and resource needs.
- Manage ERP/EPM implementation activities, including data migration coordination, testing oversight, and solution alignment.
- Lead process mapping, documentation, and design of new ways of working, ensuring standardisation and clarity across finance processes.
- Support and manage change-management activity — communications, training coordination, stakeholder engagement, and readiness assessments.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and control processes.
- Ensure risks, decisions, and actions are surfaced, escalated, and tracked appropriately, maintaining strong governance discipline across all transformation work.
About you:
- Proven experience in finance transformation, PMO leadership, or finance project delivery roles.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes (planning, forecasting, reporting, month-end, controls, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver complex transformation projects.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, able to work across Finance, IT, and business teams.
- Experience with ERP or EPM systems implementations (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Anaplan) is highly desirable.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment with shifting priorities.
