Commercial Data Consultant (Data & AI Consultancy) | London (Hybrid)

We’re hiring a Consultant to join a fast-growing data & AI consultancy working closely with private equity funds and their portfolio companies to drive real commercial impact.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where you’ll lead projects end-to-end, manage small teams, and work directly with senior stakeholders.

London-based | 3 days in office

What you’ll be doing

• Own and lead client projects end-to-end
• Manage and develop Associate & Senior Associate Consultants
• Work directly with senior stakeholders & C-suite
• Solve ambiguous, complex business problems with structured thinking
• Deliver clear, impactful insights and recommendations

What we’re looking for

• ~4+ years’ experience in consulting / FS / startup environments
• Background in a smaller consultancy or high-growth setting
• Strong commercial acumen + structured problem solving
• Confident presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders
• Comfortable working in agile, fast-moving, ambiguous environments
• Projects will be across Data Engineering, GenAI, Data Science and BI/Reporting, we are looking for candidate with experience in any/all of these areas.
• Client tech stack is Excel, Tableau, Power-BI, Python, SQL, Alteryx. You will need to have experience with a combination of these.
• This role would suit someone who is strong in the above mentioned tech or someone from a consulting background with strong stakeholder management, presentation skills and the ability to mentor others. Or an individual who covers aspects of all these attributes.

Nice to have

• Exposure to private equity / funds / portfolio companies
• Experience with data tools (Excel, SQL, Python, BI tools)
