Engineering and Infrastructure Manager

The role of Head of Engineering and Infrastructure is now available at a complex, asset-intensive industrial organisation operating across multiple production facilities, infrastructure assets, utilities, and critical operational systems. This influential position spans engineering strategy, infrastructure, reliability, asset performance, continuous improvement, and capital investment, with the potential to take on more responsibility over time. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you'll lead central engineering and continuous improvement activities, creating a more integrated and coordinated engineering function across a complex multi-site environment.

The Work

• Shape the future engineering model of the organisation
• Create greater consistency, reliability, and functional excellence across the platform
• Lead central engineering and continuous improvement activities
• Create a more integrated and coordinated engineering function
• Develop and implement engineering strategy, infrastructure, reliability, asset performance, and capital investment

What You Need

• Proven engineering leadership with a safety-first mindset
• Chartered or professionally qualified engineering credentials
• Strong electrical and/or multi-disciplinary engineering expertise
• Experience leading engineering within a complex operational environment
• Track record of improving reliability, asset performance, and engineering standards
• Significant OPEX and CAPEX responsibility
• Experience operating across matrix organisations and multiple stakeholder groups

Desirable

• Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, utilities, infrastructure, building materials, chemicals, process industries, or energy-intensive manufacturing
• Experience in large-scale operational asset management
