Join us and be part of a mission-driven, independent publisher. You’ll work with a diverse group of people who share a passion for empowering researchers, educators, and institutions to shape the future.

About Sage:

Sage is a global academic publisher of books, journals, and library resources with a growing range of technologies to enable discovery, access, and engagement. Believing that research and education are critical in shaping society, Sara Miller McCune founded Sage in 1965. Today, we are controlled by a group of trustees charged with maintaining our independence and mission indefinitely.

Our guaranteed independence means we’re free to:

  • Do more – supporting an equitable academic future, furthering disciplines that drive social change, and helping social and behavioural science make an impact
  • Work together – building lasting relationships, championing diverse perspectives, and co-creating resources to transform teaching and learning
  • Think long-term – experimenting, taking risks, and investing in new ideas

About our Team:

You’ll be joining a new team developed to bring data-driven thinking into the heart of our business. You’ll translate marketing team needs to clear data requirements for BI developers and data specialists.

Working closely with marketing, technology and editorial teams, you will deliver key insights to inform strategy and craft powerful narratives to all levels within our organisation.

Could you be our Insights Analyst? Are you?

  • Adept at using Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to extract, interpret, and optimise performance data?
  • Skilled in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools, with a proven record of developing impactful dashboards alongside BI teams?
  • A strategic problem solver who influences decisions through data-driven recommendations and collaborates cross-functionally to drive growth and engagement with commercial awareness?

Your new role:

  • Develop and maintain key marketing metrics to assess and boost campaign efficiency.
  • Deliver intuitive PowerBI dashboards and reports that make performance data accessible and actionable for decision makers.
  • Uncover trends in campaign and audience data to inform product positioning and optimise marketing strategy.
  • Generate actionable insights that inform marketing strategy, product positioning, and campaign optimisation.
  • Translate sophisticated data into clear narratives that influence decision-making across non-technical teams.
  • Empower marketing teams in using analytics tools and interpreting insights.
  • Provide analytical support for evolving reporting needs, including campaign evaluations and ad hoc investigations.
  • Link market, funding, and competitive trends to campaign performance to identify risks and growth potential.
  • Build and refine customer segmentation models, personas, and journey maps.
