Abou the Role

My client is seeking an experienced and motivated Building Surveyor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an AssocRICS or MRICS qualified professional to play a key role in delivering high-quality surveying and consultancy services across a broad range of projects.

The role will involve a varied workload, providing exposure to both residential and commercial sectors, and the successful candidate will be encouraged to develop their skills and progress within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities include:

* Carrying out building surveys, defect analysis, and condition assessments.

* Preparing reports, schedules of condition, and maintenance advice.

* Managing dilapidations and party wall matters.

* Undertaking project work including refurbishment and repair specifications.

* Providing professional advice to clients, property owners, and investors.

* Supporting business development through excellent service delivery and client relationships

About the Requirements

The ideal candidate will be:

* AssocRICS or MRICS qualified (essential).

* Experienced across a range of building surveying disciplines, ideally within a consultancy environment.

* Skilled in producing detailed, high-quality reports and documentation.

* Professional, client-focused, and confident in delivering advice directly to clients.

* Organised, proactive, and capable of managing a varied workload.

* Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
