Job Overview/Purpose

As a Business Analyst at Transparity you will play a key role in delivering digital transformation projects across the Microsoft ecosystem. Working closely with clients and internal delivery teams, you will lead discovery, capture and structure requirements, and guide solutions from inception through to go-live.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role. You will be expected to run workshops and discovery sessions independently, own the requirements lifecycle on your engagements, and maintain strong alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout delivery.

You will also support AI envisioning sessions, helping clients identify automation and AI opportunities across their business processes using the Microsoft stack.

If you enjoy problem-solving, collaborating with stakeholders, and working on innovative Microsoft-based solutions, this role offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills and make an impact.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering sessions independently

  • Analyse current state processes, identify pain points, and define future state solutions

  • Document clear and accurate business requirements including functional and non-functional needs

  • Create process maps, user journeys and data models to support solution design

  • Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams

  • Own and refine product backlogs in collaboration with stakeholders and delivery teams

  • Work closely with enterprise architects and developers to ensure solutions align with business objectives

  • Support and facilitate AI envisioning sessions, capturing process pain points and contributing to opportunity and use case identification

  • Prepare test cases and support clients through UAT

  • Lead post-go-live support activities, ensuring smooth transition and resolving issues promptly

  • Maintain strong communication between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle

  • Contribute to pre-sales activities, such as supporting bids, preparing documentation, and providing BA input during client engagements.

Skills, experience and qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering digital transformation, technology, or business change projects.

  • Confident leading discovery workshops and working directly with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.

  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and translating business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Experience managing and prioritising product backlogs within Agile delivery environments using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.

  • Good understanding of the Microsoft technology ecosystem, including Copilot, Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and Azure.

  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.

  • Exposure to AI, automation or pre-sales activities, with relevant Business Analysis or Microsoft certifications viewed as an advantage.
