Teaching Assistant
Pay: £100-£117 per day
Contract: Full Time
Start: ASAP Remedy Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in South East London. The school is looking for a dedicated and experienced TA with strong SEN experience who can provide effective support to pupils across the school. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about helping children with additional needs to develop their confidence, independence and learning. The Role: Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN Supporting pupils with their learning and development Helping pupils engage positively with lessons and school life Supporting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour Adapting activities and resources to meet individual needs Working closely with teachers, SENCO and the wider support team Helping pupils develop their confidence and independence Supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom The Ideal Candidate: Previous SEN experience is essential Experience supporting children with additional needs in a school setting Patient, caring and consistent approach Confident supporting behaviour and emotional needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, proactive and committed Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one If you have strong SEN experience and are looking for a new opportunity in South East London, we would love to hear from you.
