Your role as an Audit & Accounts Senior:
- Working across a split of 70% audit and 30% accounts, you will lead and manage audits from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with all auditing standards.
- Gather necessary background data for audit planning.
- Prepare and review financial statements and corporation tax computations.
- Draft management letters and audit reports.
- Ensure audits are completed within time budgets and deadlines.
- Maintain client confidentiality and develop strong professional relationships.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, helping them develop their skills.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure the effective completion of audit jobs.
- Participate in technical training sessions to continually enhance your knowledge.
What you'll need to succeed:
- You will be ACA / ACCA qualified or a finalist.
- Experience within a multi-partner practice with significant audit exposure (minimum 40% audit).
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- A keen desire for long-term career progression and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
