Are you passionate about creating smarter, more sustainable transport systems? Do you enjoy solving complex challenges in a collaborative, supportive environment? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
At PA Consulting , we’re a global management consultancy that works with organisations across the transport sector—rail, roads, and aviation—to tackle their most critical challenges and unlock new opportunities. As we grow, we’re looking for talented individuals to join our team in the South-East of England. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are especially keen to hear from women and under-represented groups in the transport and consultancy sectors.
What you’ll do:
You’ll work with transport clients to deliver innovative, high-impact solutions in areas such as:
- Transport strategy, planning, and operations
- Operational performance improvement and transformation
- Implementing new asset management systems and approaches
- Digital, data, and technology strategy
- Analytics and modelling to support investment and operational decisions
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for motivated, thoughtful professionals with:
- A degree or equivalent qualification
- At least 3 years of experience of working in the UK transport sector
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- A curious, open-minded approach and a desire to learn and grow
- Capable of getting appropriate Government security clearance.
We know the skill-gap and ‘somewhat need to tick every box’ can get in the way of meeting brilliant candidates, so please don’t hesitate to apply – we’d love to hear from you.
What we offer:
- Flexible working arrangements to support your lifestyle and commitments
- A supportive, inclusive culture where your voice is heard and valued
- Opportunities for growth, with access to mentoring, training, and career development
- A competitive salary and benefits package
- A purpose-driven team that values creativity, innovation, and impact
At PA, we believe that diversity drives innovation. We are committed to creating an environment where everyone can thrive—regardless of gender, background, or identity. We actively support women in consulting and leadership, and we’re proud to foster a culture where balance, wellbeing, and belonging are priorities.
