Senior Forward Deployed Engineer - Agentic AI - London
People Hive is supporting a client in the search for a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer – Agentic AI to join their team in London.
The Senior Forward Deployed Engineer will build and deploy AI agents and multi-agent systems for enterprise customers. The role combines advanced software engineering, LLM frameworks, enterprise integrations and customer-facing technical delivery. Candidates must demonstrate hands-on AI development skills, and production deployment experience is a key differentiator.
Critical Requirements
- Several years of hands-on software engineering experience in Python, TypeScript, Java or an equivalent language
- Practical LLM and AI agent development experience
- Hands-on experience with at least one agentic AI framework (such as OpenAI Agents SDK, Claude Agent SDK, Google ADK, Microsoft Agent Framework or LangGraph)
- Understanding of agent orchestration, tool calling, RAG and multi-agent workflows
- Experience integrating APIs, databases, cloud services or enterprise applications
- Ability to engage directly with enterprise customers and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Unrestricted UK work authorisation, with no sponsorship required
