QA Lead

What You'll Do
Offer routine direction and management to a team of professional QA engineers.
Assign work, monitor progress, and ensure the team meets project deadlines and quality goals.
Implement and enforce company and departmental policies related to quality assurance and team management.
Analyze issues impacting team deliverables, exercising judgment within established procedures to determine corrective actions.
Support team members in problem-solving and bring up issues as needed to management.
Collaborate with peer groups, subordinate supervisors, and management to align project schedules, deliverables, and priorities.
Conduct presentations and status updates on QA activities, schedules, and challenges to internal collaborators.
Recommend changes to policies or processes that improve team efficiency or quality outcomes.
Act as an advisor to the team, providing guidance and mentoring to support professional development.
Develop and maintain clear and concise documentation for the team, including, but not limited to, test plans and test results.
Work closely with distributed teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across different locations.
Contribute to the definition and monitoring of important metrics related to testing.
Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience leading or supervising QA teams or comparable technical groups.
Proven track record mentoring and assisting team members.
Strong understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and guidelines.
Ability to analyze complex issues and exercise good judgment within company policies.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills; adept at motivating and coordinating teams.
Experience managing schedules, prioritisation, and project priorities.
Ability to interact effectively across multiple organizational levels including peers, subordinates, and senior management.
Familiarity with relevant QA tools and technologies (e.g., test management, defect tracking, automation frameworks).
Experience with microservices architecture and related testing strategies.
ISTQB/ISEB Advanced level certification.
Experience in Agile or DevOps environments.
Knowledge of domain-specific regulations or quality standards (if applicable).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (New Relic, Prometheus, ELK stack).
Experience in game development environments and mobile gaming industry.
