About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and delivering the UK sales strategy to drive our growth ambition through a holistic approach, sell in and sell through and increased profitability in order to achieve an optimal result and according to budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver UK Sales strategy to build the TOMS brand for the future, aligned with broader EMEA strategy

  • Lead the UK Sales annual plan, through translation and deployment of the EMEA strategic direction to maximize the potential in market.

  • Lead Sales team to deliver annual budget through strategic direction and delivery of comprehensive Sales plan.

  • Drive the UK implementation of EMEA strategic goals, delivery of Focus lines and create UK specific product segmentation strategy.

  • Lead the country Sales team, through clear communications of targets and objectives.

  • Attract, develop and retain the right caliber of talent in the market.

  • Support, develop and lead the team to maximise UK potential. Monitor and support individual performance of team members and deliver regular coaching and feedback to ensure growth and key learnings are achieved in their positions

  • Improve Wholesale performance by analysis of (proven) sales drivers and setting stretching targets.

  • Develop a strong approach to leading and managing the growth of UK Accounts, as well as accurate product and Sales forecasting.

  • Identify new business opportunities with new or existing customers through solid understanding of business risks and opportunities.

  • Manage strategic Key Accounts where necessary.

  • Deliver exceptional preparation and GTM strategies for selling seasons.

  • Delivery of Monthly/ Quarterly shipping budgets.

  • Work closely with Marketing team to ensure Country allignment and support for locally relevant programs to boost sales and develop/renew customer relations in the market.

  • Deliver Quarterly UK business review.

  • Responsible for management of the UK Office/ Showroom.

  • Attendance at Sales launches and relevant trade shows.

What You Bring

  • Provide inspirational leadership and direction to direct report team and ensure the continued development and management of a professional and efficient organization.

  • Cultivate strong and transparent working relationships across the organization, to ensure delivery of order book, relevant product opportunities and exposure in market (Credit, Customer Service, Marketing and Product)

  • Have exceptional understanding of the UK market and customer base across all customer channels, as well as market trends

  • Experience of branded Wholesale sales in fashion and specific experience in the footwear business

  • Ability to build a comprehensive strategic plan

  • Ability to understand and audit competitive landscapes in the market.

  • A self-starter, someone versatile and eager to identify unique opportunities of growth and market penetration

  • Establishes strong relationships with accounts to enable team support

  • Strong ability to work as a team player and managerial experience to lead, develop and engage the team.

  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and project management skills

  • Ability to use sound judgment in decision making with results-driven orientation, work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Clear and strong communicator, both verbally and in writing

  • Good negotiating and sales skills

  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ management experience in a Commercial role.

  • Willingness to learn and develop in a fast paced pan-continental environment.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word and Excel).

  • Have exceptional understanding of the UK market and customer base across all customer channels, as well as market trends.

  • Experience of branded Wholesale sales in fashion and specific experience in the footwear business.
