Mandarin speaking Accounts Assistant/Officer - What You'll be Doing:
- Prepare financial analysis, management information, and financial forecasts to support business decision-making;
- Assist with the budget preparation and ongoing financial planning, including periodic forecast and variance analysis;
- Contribute to performance management, including monitoring of key performance indicators against budget and forecast;
- Assist with asset and liability management;
- Assist with bank capital management, including capital monitoring, reporting, and planning activities.
- Share Head Officing reporting duties.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on financial matters.
- Financial accounting duties;
- Regulatory reporting;
- Tax return and compliance;
- Expense and procurement management;
- Other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
Mandarin speaking Accounts Assistant/Officer - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
- Solid practical experience in accounting/auditing/financial management, ideally within the banking industry;
- A Bachelor’s degree or above, ideally with a finance/accounting/economics/statistics background;
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin both in verbal and writing.
- High proficiency in Excel is required. Experience in data processing, data analysis or SQL skills is preferred.
- Candidates holding accounting or financial related qualifications will be preferred;
- Be able to focus on execution and delivery, with strong attention to details in a fast-pace working environment
