Flora Food Group
London

The Practical Detail
Location: Southwark, London
Working Model: Hybrid

Why this role matters
In your first year, you will lead the commercial growth of Flora Professional’s Industry & Manufacturing business across the UK and Ireland, driving sustainable revenue growth and securing new strategic partnerships. This role is vital to expanding Flora’s presence in key sectors such as bakery, desserts, soups, sauces, and beverages. By combining commercial expertise with culinary innovation, you will help manufacturers create exceptional food products that meet evolving consumer needs. Your work will directly support Flora Food Group’s mission to deliver better food solutions that inspire kitchens and delight consumers.

What you'll do

  • Lead the execution of Flora Professional’s growth strategy across Industry & Manufacturing sectors, identifying new commercial opportunities.
  • Build and maintain trusted partnerships with procurement, commercial, technical, and culinary stakeholders at leading food manufacturers.
  • Collaborate with Culinary, Marketing, Technical, and R&D teams to develop innovative recipes and product applications that showcase Flora’s portfolio.
  • Drive commercial excellence through negotiations, joint business planning, pricing discussions, and long-term agreements.
  • Manage and coach a Junior Key Account Manager, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

Performance
You will own the commercial growth of a key business area generating over 45% gross margin in the UK channel. Your data-driven approach and commercial insight will ensure sustainable revenue growth, improved customer engagement, and operational excellence. Success will be measured by your ability to meet growth targets, secure new partnerships, and maintain strong sales performance.

Care
This role reports to senior leadership and includes line management of a Junior Key Account Manager. You will work closely across functions including Marketing, Technical, R&D, Culinary, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure aligned and sustainable commercial execution. Your decisions will balance short-term results with long-term partnerships and responsible business practices that build lasting value for Flora and its customers.

Passion
You are a food lover and innovator who thrives on combining commercial success with culinary creativity. Your curiosity about taste, nutrition, functionality, and reliability drives you to help customers develop exceptional products that stand out in the market. You take pride in contributing to Flora Food Group’s future-focused approach to better food, inspiring kitchens and consumers alike.

About you
You bring proven experience managing strategic B2B accounts within Foodservice, FMCG, or Industry & Manufacturing, with a strong track record of growing long-term commercial opportunities. You understand the complexity of manufacturing customers and excel at building trusted partnerships. Your commercial acumen is demonstrated through leading negotiations, pricing, and joint business planning. You communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, and work cross-functionally with diverse teams. Your entrepreneurial mindset, resilience, and curiosity help you identify new opportunities and challenge the status quo.

You are genuinely interested in food culture and curious about how consumer behaviour and future food trends shape innovation. You understand that strong brands are built by anticipating what’s next in taste, nutrition and functionality, and by translating insight into meaningful consumer experiences.

Where this could lead to
This role typically leads to senior commercial leadership positions within Flora Professional or broader commercial roles across the business. Over time, you can expect to take on greater responsibility for shaping strategy and leading larger teams, influencing Flora Food Group’s growth across multiple markets.
