Your new job working as an Insurance Technician will work for a Broking house, who are part of a larger Lloyd's Broking group who handle Non-Marine, Marine and Aviation risks emanating on a worldwide basis. Due to growth in the Technical team, they are now seeking a permanent Insurance Technician with Xchanging and Db/Cr note processing experience. Your new role

Your new job as an Insurance Technician will be working for an established Lloyd's Broker based in the heart of the City. Your new brokers pride themselves on providing tailored and effective Insurance Solutions for their clients. They have access to international markets and have a team of unique and dynamic individuals willing to help you grow and develop. Due to huge growth within the Technical team, a permanent job for an Insurance Technician who has BDX, Xchanging, closing and premium experience has arisen.

Your new job working as a technician, means you will be responsible for the preparation and processing of premiums, claims, bordereaux, treaty statements and associated documentation, and you will be responsible for maintenance of the broking system. It will be your job to communicate with underwriters, cover-holders, direct clients and Xchanging, as well as be responsible for the processing of claims transactions between offices and via Xc-hanging's various systems. Your new job working as a Technician will be working within the Central Operations and Technical Team where you will be responsible for dealing with all aspects of BDX. This will include; Processing BDX, Dealing with Xchanging, Processing Debit/ Credit notes via Novus. Your new job will be to provide technical support and that is producing written and paid bdx from our broker system. Your main duties will include; sending statements to our clients, credit control, auctioning incoming statements from our insurers and dealing with Xchanging and submitting LPANS. What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience working in a Technical operation's capacity at a Broker, Insurer or a Third party such as Xchanging will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have Lloyd's/London Market experience in a similar operational role, a solid technical knowledge of the following: binding authorities/line-slips, BDX, Xchanging systems and services and Excel, as well as, the ability to interact with a diverse, excellent understanding of the London, Lloyd's and insurance and Re-Insurance markets, system processes, terminology and reporting requirements.
