Regional Sales Manager - Northeast England/ North Yorkshire
For a quarter of a century, the Jellycat family have brought joy, wonder and playful fun to people of all ages, in every part of the world. Utterly original and in a class of their own, they are currently among the most loved and collected toys of their kind. How has this gentle tribe endeared themselves to so many? Perhaps it is their whimsical expressions. Or the deliciously soft fabrics. Or the beautiful way in which they sit in your hand. Whatever it is, there is something magical and unmistakeable about each one of them.
We are looking for a commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow Jellycat’s presence across independent premium and luxury retailers within your territory. Reporting to your line manager and working closely with the Head of UK Sales, you will manage an established portfolio of accounts while identifying new opportunities to expand the brand. This is a field-based role involving regular travel across your region, alongside home-based administration and monthly visits to Head Office. Your focus will be on delivering sustainable growth, building strong partnerships, and ensuring Jellycat is consistently represented to a high standard in-store, helping bring joy to customers through meaningful retail experiences.
You'll be
Managing and growing a portfolio of independent premium and luxury stockists across your region
Visiting accounts regularly to support performance, build trust, and strengthen relationships
Identifying and securing new retail partners aligned with Jellycat’s brand positioning
Presenting and selling in new collections, ensuring customers have access to latest launches
Supporting excellent in-store execution, visual merchandising, and brand consistency
Working with marketing to implement approved POS and retail activations in line with guidelines
Monitoring account performance, managing orders, and supporting timely payments
Contributing to annual sales plans, forecasts, and delivering against agreed budgets
Sharing insights, sales feedback, and examples of strong retail execution with the wider team
Acting as a Jellycat ambassador, representing the brand with care, consistency, and commercial awareness
You'll have
Experience in a field-based sales role or similar customer-facing commercial position
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to contribute to growth and planning
Confident relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust with customers and partners
Experience presenting products and influencing retail partners
Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise effectively
A proactive, solutions-focused approach to identifying opportunities and challenges
Comfortable using tools such as Excel for reporting and planning
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High levels of organisation with the ability to manage competing priorities
A genuine passion for retail, product storytelling, and the Jellycat brand
