Barista

The Role

KOI11 are looking for an experienced Barista for this new concept focused on health & wellness within their retail store. KOIBIRD has been working with a renowned practice – Euchronia Architects based in Paris to help reimagine the store. The ideal candidate will exhibit values based on our KOIBIRD ethos – Never Boring!

Main Duties

• Actioning day-to-day operations of the KOI11 Nutrition Café.
• Demonstrate innovative skills in helping create new menu items that reflect changing trends and seasons.
• Show passion about Health and Wellness and inspire the KOI11 team and the wider KOIBIRD team.
• Support in the training of new employees on drinks preparation and proper use of equipment within the Nutrition Café.
• Coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed (e.g., all ingredients, takeaway cups, etc).
• Maintain updated records of daily, weekly and monthly revenues and expenses.
• Support in developing new menu items based on seasonality and customers’ preferences (e.g., vegan drinks)
• Support KOI11 colleagues on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensure all bar areas are clean and tidy at all times and in line with KOIBIRD store standards.
• Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation.
• Supporting the KOIBIRD Social Media Manager to interact directly with our customers through positive, engaging and creative KOI11 Nutrition Café content - promoting our unique concept, new drinks, etc.

Who we are looking for

• A hospitality professional who has a passion for health & wellness.
• Trained Mixologist / Barista who has a creative flair and enjoys developing new drinks.
• A confident & vibrant personality who thrives in the buzz of service is key!
• Passionate about detailed hospitality, guest experience and dedicated to exceptionally high standards of service.
• Dedicated to exceptionally high standards of service.
• Strong background in mixology, as well as experience in coffee is preferred.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
