About the team:

You'll join the Treasury Risk Solutions team within the Private Companies Group, a dynamic and growth-focused area of the bank.

We are an ambitious, collaborative and high-energy sales team focused on delivering bespoke treasury solutions to corporate clients. Our aim is to build long-term relationships by providing exceptional client experiences and connecting businesses to the full breadth of Investec's offering.

What will I be doing?

• As a Treasury Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in driving new business and expanding our corporate client base. Your responsibilities will include:
• Business Development: Generate and convert new-to-bank opportunities through campaigns, networking, events and proactive outreach
• Client Acquisition: Meet prospective clients, understand their treasury needs and onboard them successfully
• Client Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, including account setup and KYC requirements
• Relationship Management: Own the client relationship during the first year, transitioning into a broader relationship role over time
• Collaboration: Work closely with trading, marketing, compliance and product teams to deliver client solutions
• Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate CRM records, deliver weekly reporting and actively manage your sales pipeline
• Team Contribution: Support colleagues, build strong internal relationships and champion the “One Bank” approach

What do I need to bring?

Mandatory requirements:

• Experience in a client-facing sales or business development role, ideally within financial services
• A strong understanding of foreign exchange markets, with experience in pitching FX products and solutions to clients
