Van Driver (Multi-drop collection & Delivery) - Enfield, Middlesex

Join us as a Van Driver and you'll be a key part of the Greggs team responsible for local deliveries and collections.

Day-to-day, you can expect to be dealing with food, carrying out quality and temperature checks on the products and working in line with food safety and health and safety standards. You may also be expected to work in a chilled/frozen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring your vehicle is legally complaint and safe.

You'll work alongside a great team, in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where timescales and targets are important.

You will support our Greggs Pledge commitments by ensuring surplus product is collected from our shops and supply sites and redistributed, where possible, to one or more of our community-based outlet shops.

About you

Ideally, you'll have previously worked as a multi-drop HGV Class 2 Driver within the food industry. You'll also need:

• A full, valid driving licence (vocational HGV licence not required)
• To be comfortable handling food
• To be comfortable with driving for long periods of time, as well as lifting and carrying
• To be confident working alone during unsociable hours
• Be supportive of an inclusive culture - recognising and valuing that difference is good

Experience of collections and delivery driving would also be beneficial but isn't essential.
