Clinical Fellow Complex Safeguarding & Gender Interest
This job will be 50% based in General Paediatric Endocrinology including gender clinics at UCLH and 50% based in CYPGS. It is possible to negotiate evening and weekend 'on call' work in General Paediatrics. We are passionate about providing excellent clinical care alongside the best training opportunities. It has world class support services including critical care, imaging, nuclear medicine and pathology. Person specification Knowledge and Qualifications Essential criteria
- Full GMC Registration with License to Practice
- ST4+
- MRCP, MRCPCH or equivalent
- APLS Provider
- Level 3 safeguarding training
- Higher degree MSc or related discipline
- Wide experience in General Paediatrics in the UK at specialist registrar level (ST4+) (ED, wards, outpatients)
- Understanding of principles of clinical governance
- Knowledge and experience of local and national safeguarding policies and their application
- Understanding of principles of patient confidentiality and data protection
- Experience of teaching and presenting
- Experience of audit activities
- Clinical expertise in adolescent medicine, neurodiversity, safeguarding
- Research experience
- Experience in a range of teaching techniques
- Experience in simulation training and learning
- Demonstrate ability to meet Trust Values of safety, kindness, teamwork and improving.
- Demonstrable contribution to advancing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace
- Being familiar with, and adhering to Trust policies and guidance on infection prevention and control.
- Completing all required training and education (both via e-learning and face to face) on infection prevention and control.
- Including infection prevention and control as an integral part of your continuous personal/professional development and included in your annual appraisal
